PETALING JAYA: Travelers using PLUS Expressway on Jan 29 and Jan 3 to 4 will receive 20% rebate toll when they pay toll between 7am to 11.59pm and will receive 30% toll rebate when they pay toll between 12 midnight to 7am in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebrations.

PLUS Expressway Bhd corporate communications assistant general manager Khalila Mohd Talhar said travelers, however, must first obtain a Plus miles card to enjoy the rebates.

On Friday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has urged all toll concessionaires to review toll charges to help the government prosper the country and lessen the burden of the people.

Khalila said that PLUS miles members were also entitled to a 5% toll rebate on a total monthly toll usage of RM200 and above at PLUS, ELITE, BKE and LINKEDUA highways during normal days.

“For total monthly toll usage of less than RM200, for every RM1 usage on PLUS, ELITE, BKE and LINKEDUA highways, members are entitled to 1 PLUS miles point reward.

“However, it excludes Bukit Kayu Hitam Toll Plaza, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Toll Plaza and Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza,” she said.

“Now we are improving our ticketing system in efforts to become more environmentally friendly and aim to reduce traffic congestion during festive seasons,” she said.

However, PLUS Expressway Bhd corporate communications assistant general manager Khalila Mohd Talhar said motorists must first obtain a PLUSmiles card to enjoy the rebates.

Khalila said that PLUSmiles members were also entitled to a 5% toll rebate for their total monthly toll usage of RM200 and above on the North-South Expressway, ELITE, BKE and Linkedua highways on other days.
