THE Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) caught highway concessionaires by surprise with a new policy requiring them to apply for business licences for their toll booths.
Under the policy, the licences for each toll booth is RM1,000 a year.
The concessionaires will also require business licences for toll plaza management and operations offices. The charges will depend on floor space.
