PETALING JAYA: KTM Berhad is offering 73,786 tickets to Butterworth, Johor Baru, Tumpat, Hat Yai, Woodlands and Singapore for trips between Jan 18 and 31 in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebrations this year.

KTM Berhad said in a press statement that out of this amount, 39,109 tickets were offered for trips between Jan 18 and 22.

A total of 29,274 tickets to all destinations had been bought as of 2pm yesterday.

The trips include KL Sentral-Singapore, Singapore-KL Sentral, Butterworth-KL Sentral, KL Sentral-Hat Yai, Tumpat-Johor Baru and Tumpat-Woodlands.

For the Electric Train Service, KTM Berhad is offering 44,100 tickets for trips from Seremban, Kuala Lumpur and Ipoh beginning from Jan 19 to 25.
