KUALA LUMPUR: Plus Expressways Berhad (PLUS) is offering toll rebate of 10% for users of PlusMiles and Touch n' Go cards in conjunction with Chinese New Year.

PLUS managing director Datuk Noorizah Abd Hamid, in a statement here Wednesday, said the users would enjoy the rebate on Thursday, Jan 23 and Friday Jan 27.

However, the offer is not applicable if payment is debited at the border toll plazas of Bukit Kayu Hitam, Penang Bridge, Tanjung Kupang and Bangunan Sultan Iskandar, she said.

She said the rebate can be claimed at the company's customer service centres when topping up the electronic cards between March 1 and May 31.

Noorizah said the toll rebate was another strategy by PLUS to encourage users to switch to the electronic payment system, which is easier and faster.

Besides that, she said, the rebate can clear the traffic and encourage users to travel outside the peak hours.
