KUALA LUMPUR: The Touch 'n Go reload lanes on the North-South Expressway will be closed from Monday until Thursday and from Sept 16 to 19 in conjunction with the Aidilfitri and Malaysia Day holidays.
Plus Expressway Berhad (PLUS), in a statement issued Saturday, said the lanes would be closed to ensure smooth traffic flow.
As an alternative, several Touch'n Go reload counters would be opened at several rest and recreation areas along the highway, it said.
From Monday to Thursday, the Touch 'n Go reload counters will be available at the north bound R&Rs at Gurun, Gunung Semanggol, Tapah, Restoran Jejantas Sungai Buloh and Pagoh, Johor.
For south bound trafic, counters will be set up at R&Rs in Seremban and Restoran Jejantas Ayer Keroh.
For motorists, travelling from Sept 16 to 19, they can reload their Touch 'n Go at south bound R&Rs in Gurun, Gunung Semanggol, Tapah,and Machap.
North bound traffic can reload their Touch 'n Go at Restoran Jejantas Sungai Buloh, Seremban and Restoran Jejantas Ayer Keroh.
In conjunction with the two celebrations, PLUS is also offering a special price, at RM90 from RM120 which is the normal price, for its SmartTag, while its PLUSMiles cards are priced at RM5, from RM10 normally, from Saturday until Sept 15, depending on the availability of stock.
