KUALA TERENGGANU: A 1.5km buggy road costing RM4.5 million is currently being built in Pasir Panjang on the resort island of Redang, off here.
State economic planning unit director Datuk Mat Razali Kassim said the road was to facilitate movement of tourists on the island.
"It is almost 90 per cent completed. We expect to open it in February," he said.
The road would start from the island's jetty and connect resorts along the island's beaches, he said.
