PETALING JAYA: The heavy vehicle inspection lane at Puspakom’s branch in Mak Mandin, Penang, will be closed from Oct 11 to Nov 10 for upgrading work.
Inspections for light vehicles will not be affected during the period and the closed lane is expected to be reopened on Nov 11.
In a statement yesterday, Puspakom also announced new operation hours at the Mak Mandin branch in preparation for the lane’s closure.
The branch will now open seven days a week from 8am to 6pm beginning Oct 2 to Oct 10 to allow customers to send their vehicles for inspection before the closure.
The branch will be open from 7am to 6pm on Monday to Friday, and every Saturday from 7am to 1pm during normal operating hours.
During the closure, customers may go to the Teluk Kumbar, Sungai Petani or Taiping branches to have their vehicles inspected.
All three branches will also be open seven days a week during the period.
