KUALA LUMPUR: The new North Kinrara interchange at the Kesas Highway is now open for motorists.
Works Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor who opened the interchange today said the new road will benefit more than 30,000 residents around.
“It also would ease the traffic along Jalan Puchong and road users are able to save their time too,” he said, adding that only seven minutes are needed for motorists to travel from the interchange to Old Klang Road.
The reconnection of the North Kinrara interchange project was started in May last year and was fully completed on Oct 31.
The 500m-long interchange cost about RM13.6 million and will benefit motorists from Petaling Jaya who travel from the New Pantai Expressway (NEP) to Puchong and Subang Jaya.
Shaziman later reminded all motorists in flooded areas to take extra caution and drive according to the rules.
