KUALA LUMPUR: The Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn Bhd (Litrak) and Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL Barat Sdn Bhd (Sprint) will give discounts of 60 sen and 20 sen respectively for users of the Damansara-Puchong expressway and the Sprint expressway for 24 hours beginning 12.01am on Saturday.
Litrak group chief executive officer Sazally Saidi, in a statement Tuesday, said the discounts to be enjoyed in conjunction with Christmas day were for all classes of vehicles.
Meanwhile, for those watching the Gemuruh Double Trouble 2010 concert on Saturday, Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana) has announced the extension of the RapidKL bus service, and the operating hours of the LRT station in Kelana Jaya for their benefit.
Prasarana Group general manager (Communication) Ebi Azly Abdullah said the LRT services would be extended to 12.15am, and the RapidKL shuttle bus service according to their respective routes.
He said among the routes where the shuttle services would be extended included Sunway Lagoon-LRT Kelana Jaya, U62 Klang-Sunway Pyramid, U63 Subang Mewah-Pasar Seni (via Persiaran Kewajipan), U63 Subang Mewah-Pasar Seni (via Persiaran Tujuan) and U76 Subang Parade-KL Sentral.
"Concert spectators only need to produce tickets to enable them get a free ride on the buses," he said in a statement.
However, the operating hours of buses on the other routes, the LRT stations, and KL monorail stations would be normal, he said.
