Residents of Goodyear Court 10 in USJ 14 are finding it difficult to get to their homes because of cars parked along Jalan Mulia at night.
Cars turning into Jalan Mulia from Persiaran Kewajipan to get to Court 10 need to make a U-turn into a one-way road to get to the apartments.
Most of the cars parked there belong to those who patronise a popular tom yam restaurant.
Due to lack of space the customers park the cars along the road kerb and the concrete divider.
This makes it difficult for those staying in Goodyear Court 10 from making the U-turn at night.
Furthermore, the trees on the divider blocks the streetlights, thus reducing the visibility and increasing the risk of accidents.
Resident Teh Sew Kim said when people made the U-turn, they could not see the parked cars along the road and divider.
Another resident, Cecilia Ang Kim Yoke, said accidents had occurred when drivers made the turn into the slip road at night.
“Another reason is the lack of parking bays as shop owners put out tables and chairs onto these spaces. They have already been
fined by the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) officers before,” said Ang.
