FOUR tipper lorries were towed away during Operasi Kapas, after failing to produce permits in transporting gravel in Kuala Lumpur last month.

The joint operation was conducuted by the police, Road Transport Department, Department of Environment and Federal Territories Lands and Mines office as well as Kuala Lumpur City Hall.

The operation was carried out weekly to check on lorries for various offences.

The lorries are now stored at the compound of the Lands and Mines office until legal action is taken.
