IPOH: All train services between Tapah Road and Tanjung Malim were halted from early Thursday morning after police received an anonymous call at 1.45am claiming that there was a bomb along the railway track.

Tapah OCPD Supt Roslan Bek said the man had claimed that the bomb was beneath one of the bridges along the railway track between Bidor and Tanjung Malim.

He said police had checked 16 of the 21 bridges between Tapah Road and Tanjung Malim from 3am but have yet to find anything suspicious.

The search is ongoing.
