KUALA LUMPUR: Syarikat Prasarana Negara Bhd (Prasarana) is currently gathering feedback from the public regarding the revised proposed alignment of the Ampang light rail transit (LRT) line extension.

Prasarana, in a statement, said it would exhibit the latest alignment proposal – the revised proposed alignment – for three months beginning May 27 at the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) office at Menara Dayabumi in Kuala Lumpur and also at the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MSPJ) building in Selangor.

The three-month display will include the amended section of the 15.2km and 17.7km alignments and the area where the proposed new LRT depot will be constructed at 0.0km to 15.2km in Kampung Kuala Sungai Baru, which had been approved by the Transport Minister on June 4, 2010.

The displays are available to the public from 9:00AM to 5:00PM on weekdays.

The LRT extension project, which was announced in the Budget 2009, would extend from Sri Petaling to Putra Heights through Puchong.
